Norman Karrer

Norman is a partner in two of zeb’s practice groups, Private Banking, Asset and Wealth Management, and Capital Markets and Securities Processing. He is also the responsible client manager for several large international Swiss banks and private banks. He has comprehensive expertise in strategy, digitalization, pricing and distribution effectiveness as well as process efficiency, automation, cost optimization and reorganization.



Prior to re-joining zeb, Norman was a managing director at UBS Asset Management holding various senior management positions, specifically as head of the global business strategy as well as head of the global platform transformation. Before this, Norman was already a managing director and seasoned project lead at zeb’s Switzerland office for a number of years. He started his consulting career at Mercer Management Consulting and later became a principal at Oliver Wyman.

Norman is the co-author of various zeb studies on private banking and asset management and is also a frequent and sought-after contributor to wealth management publications. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and an MBA from Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, Canada.
